Succeed at Building Your Female Talent Pipeline – February Report 2017

 

A longitudinal study of over 700 U.S. companies found that implementing diversity training programs has little positive effect and may even decrease representation of women (HBR).

A majority of executives believe gender diversity in leadership is linked to better nancial performance, but companies take few actions to support women in the workforce (McKinsey).

Seventy-eight percent of companies report that commitment to gender diversity
is a top priority for their CEO. But this commitment does not always translate into visible action. Fewer than half of employees think their company is doing what it takes to improve gender diversity. Moreover, fewer than a third of employees say senior leaders regularly communicate the importance of gender diversity and are held accountable for making progress (McKinsey).
